Description: It was probably the wonderful Spessart woods, the healthy air and the long walk that you can take in the Spessart that convinced the businessman Rudolf Marburg from Frankfurt to build a country house in 1884 in the traditional and popular tourist site of Heigenbrücken - that house is Villa Marburg. Since then, over 120 years have passed; much has changedand yet one thing is still the same: the attractive countryside which helps you to find rest and relaxationin these hectic times. Nowadays, the Villa Marburg is still considered a place of retreat and recuperation - wheter it is for a few hours while eating in one of our three restaurants, or during a seminarin one of our 6 conference rooms, or when spending the night in one of our 85 beds. The Villa marburg is the ideal place in Spessart for travelling business people and conference guests, for hikers and people on holiday as well as connoisseurs and gourmets. Our house not only units tradition and modernity in a spatial sense but it is also a place where the forgotten vitues of attentiveness or helpfulness are combined whith contemporary attitudes to service and individuality.
